College of California graduate pupil employees voted Friday to approve new contracts with substantial wage will increase, ending a strike that began in early November, the Los Angeles Times reported.
For educational pupil workers, the contract will increase minimal pay from about $23,250 to about $34,000 for 9 months of part-time work by Oct. 1, 2024. The speed at UC Berkeley, UC San Francisco and UCLA could be $36,500 due to the excessive price of dwelling in these cities and better pay wanted to compete for prime expertise.
