Teacher and Polk State Scholar Killed in Aircraft Crash

A pupil pilot at Polk State School and his flight teacher had been killed Tuesday when their aircraft collided with one other small aircraft.

Killed had been Zachary Mace, the scholar, and Religion Irene Baker, his teacher. Baker labored for Dawn Aviation, which supplied planes and instructors to Polk State.

“Our Polk State School household is devastated by this tragedy,” Polk State president Angela Garcia Falconetti stated. “We prolong our deepest condolences to their households, associates and colleagues.”
